Would You Like to Perfect Your Writing - A Book Review

If becoming a good writer was easy, I guess everyone would be doing it wouldn't they? Well, since they aren't, it must be a little tougher than it looks. If you agree, and you'd like to improve your own writing, then there's a very good book I'd like to recommend to you. The name of the book is;
"The Only Writing Book You'll Ever Need - A Complete Resource for Perfecting Any Type of Writing" by Pamela Rice Hahn, 2005.
Indeed, I must say this is a completely comprehensive book. This book explains how to write letters that pack a punch, and are very persuasive, as well as the online version of letter writing; e-mails. If you've ever wondered about e-mail etiquette, or how to properly put together an e-mail, this is the book for you. If you are going to be writing essays, especially advanced essays, there is a whole chapter on this.
Whether you are doing business writing or technical writing, or even scientific writing for journals, there are chapters on each of these, and Pamela goes into detail about how to do it right. There are chapters on how to write articles for magazines, and how to write nonfiction books. It's all there, seriously it is totally comprehensive.
If you are writing fictional work there is all kinds of advice on how to engage the reader, build characters, organize your plot, and how to prepare what you are writing. She also explains how to use action verbs, adjectives, and how to create your own style, tone, rhythm, and the importance of pace in your story.
Indeed, this may be the only writing book you'll ever need to perfect your writing, the author may be right. And yes, I own a copy of this book in my personal writing library, and that's why I'd like to recommend to you. I hope you will please consider this.
